I just got back from The Crazies (review forthcoming) and I am in the mood for horror! So, I thought I'd post some of my favorite movies from that genre. Let me know if you agree, disagree, or have movies to add!

28 Days Later - Love it!!! Anything end-of-the-worldish is tops in my book
Alien (series) - excellent
Quarantine - pretty good but it would have been nice to have at least ONE person make it out alive
Scream - love all three (yes, even the second one)
I Know What You Did Last Summer - Excellent!
30 Days of Night - gotta put this one on my list
American Psycho - never got through the whole thing, just seemed more weird than anything else
Blade - I love me some vampires
The Amityville Horror - I prefer the original one but the remake was surprisingly good
House on Haunted Hill - I think I've worn out my DVD of this one
The Ring - pretty good but not one I watch over and over again
Ghost Ship - LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! The musical montage at the end is my fave part
Resident Evil - another one I watch over and over again
Dawn of the Dead - again, prefer the original but the remake was pretty good too (not too keen on the fast zombies)
The Descent - not sure I've heard of this one
Black Christmas - or this one
Haunting in Connecticut - I liked it my hubby did not
The Mist - Every now and then, out of the blue, the last scene will pop into my head. God! What a horrible thing to happen!!
Drag Me To Hell - not sure I know this one either
Cloverfield - LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
The Hills Have Eyes - Is this the one where, at one point, they get stuck in an outlook thingy and the bad people torch it to get them out?
Shaun of the Dead - I'm not sure there is enough space in the internet to express how much I love this movie! "Alright, you're dead and you hate it."
The Ruins - Not sure I've even head of this one
